WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? - VR Animated Short

What Took You So Long? is an animated Virtual Reality short created by faculty and students of the College of Media and Entertainment at the Middle Tennessee State University. The goal of the project is to tell a story of wonder, discovery, and appreciation for our planet from the honest perspective of a young child. In the story, a child discovers the magical things that we take for granted and shows us the planet's simple beauty. 

Planet earth faces incredible challenges today, and we want to add our voices to those who are fighting to save it with a subtle but meaningful message of hope. In this animated short, we are asking viewers: What took them that long to recognize the beauty of our planet?

This is the first VR reality short created at MTSU with all volunteer participants. We are excited to present this first project with the hope to create many more. The participants of the project come from the Media Arts Department and the Recording Industry department.
